The Alexander Ramsey House in St. Paul, Minnesota, is one of the most well-preserved Victoria homes in the country.  The first governor of the territory of Minnesota lived in the 15-room mansion with his family.  Read more about it here:

    Anoka, Minnesota earned the designation as Halloween Capital of the World in 1937 after beginning activities in 1920 to keep kids out of trouble on Halloween night.  The tradition has continued every year since then except for during World War II.  Read more about it here:
